The major difference between me and someone else?

I do the things that DON’T scale so I can focus on the things that DO. I am biased toward Action and I am willing to get my hands dirty. I apply this bias for action to internal systems and integrations to reduce friction and ship measurable wins.

Every project that you see on this site has been planned and shipped as a real product/solution (even if digital) of my own volition. I love building and creating things (including my own tools) so I have a natural curiosity that leans into the creative, the technical and data itself to choose the best solution.

I am driven by curiosity, ingenuity, and persistence, focused on solving complex problems and understanding how things work, often through creative and innovative approaches.

All done to make cool stuff and create real tangible value for myself and others by compressing complexity, and creating maintainable and sustainable solutions.

That’s the difference between me and someone else, this is my natural Soul that portrays Taste, Authenticity and Competence all rolled up into one. 

This isn't a prepped performance...this is living.

The Meaning of the Four Aspects

The four aspects are as follows:

1. Aspect of Taste (Designed by Paris)
2. Aspect of Competence (Methodology by Paris)
3. Aspect of Authenticity (Perspective by Paris) and
4. Aspect of Soul (Songs by Paris)

Everything I do, both personally and professionally has a mix of these Aspects. However to make it easier for others to digest, I decided to separate the projects into these 4 buckets.

Why does everything end with "by Paris"?

Glad you asked invisible and curious reader!

When I started to share my creative work years ago, I put all my creative work under the banner Designed by Paris. However as time went on, I realized it didn't fit everything and by having these other options, I could cover more areas while also providing a distinct landing page for those interested in particular sections.

Designed by Paris sounds so good that I didn't want to change it so I shoehorned the others into the same format. And the only one that is kinda questionable is Methodology by Paris but admittedly, it is growing on me.

Check below for additional information about each Aspect and direct links to the respective section. I also added links to my Substack, YouTube and LinkedIn for those curious individuals who like my writing, videos, and/or wants to connect professionally.

Methodology by Paris covers professional projects that showcase the Aspect of Competence. Methodology is the overarching system of principles, methods, and rules for conducting research or performing a task, providing a theoretical framework for how and why specific tools and techniques (methods) are chosen and applied

Perspective by Paris

Perspective by Paris covers mainly personal projects that showcase the Aspect of Authenticity. Everyone has their own perspective and way of doing things and through these means, we see the most authentic version of that person. These are a direct reflection of my authenticity. You can easily argue that this website and ALL of these projects are an authentic reflection of me. That would be correct. But different situations require different perspectives each with a suitable form of authenticity.

Songs by Paris covers professional and personal projects that showcase the Aspect of Soul through music. Music is the heartbeat that pulses through all of humanity, nature and the natural world. There are many forms of expression and Song is the preferred form of my Soul.
